I fell in love with this particular singer all over again after watching the new reality show with her four other sisters, known as the Braxtons. The show is super good and just adds a layer of REALNESS to Toni and the sisters...This weeks OLD SCHOOL SATURDAY belongs to Toni Braxton with one of my favorite songs "Seven Whole Days" check it out below!!

This OLD SCHOOL SATURDAY joint is inspired by my interest in SON OF A GUN, the MTV show produced by Nick Cannon. The show follows the rising career of new artist  Cory Gunz who is the son of one hit wonder Peter Gunz! The one song that he had was with his rhyming partner Lord Tariq. The song was called DEJA VU (Uptown Baby), they also were featured on a remix of Mariah Carey's #1 hit MY ALL. So in that order check out both videos after the jump!!!!

It was like she really stripped away every layer of what was the right thing to do in POPULAR music. She did the exact opposite! After this album Christina lost me. I effin love me some MJB, she and Mariah Carey have in common the fact that they have been able to remain relevant to todays music since the 90's. Seems like the days of boy bands and male groups have all vanished. The days of Jodeci, or Boyz II Men. Melodic voice, and sex appeal for the women! The days of 112 and Jagged Edge. Dru Hill, arguably one of the best groups ever(in my own opinion) seems to have also faded away. What happened to the BOY BANDS?
