NO BOYS ALLOWED (Keri Hilson Album Review)

Keri Hilson's NO BOYS ALLOWED is the singers sophomore album and the follow up to IN A PERFECT WORLD. Personally Keri's first album was like a masterpiece it all flowed together and it was a breath of fresh air. Songs like "Tell Him The Truth", "Energy", the summer anthem that was "Turnin Me On" and the smash hit "Knock You Down". Keri's first album was almost too good to be true as a debut album.
Now with her second album NO BOYS ALLOWED Keri shows us what she really means!
NO BOYS ALLOWED show us another side of Keri which was probably always there. No she's not going to showcase another personality as it is the "IT THING" right now. Instead Keri strips down and pulls out all stops literally. While dubbing the album NO BOYS ALLOWED stirred up a bit of controversy all of the albums features are from men. Keri says the albums title was not aimed to ban the "male species" as a whole but to really separate the boys from the men.

On this new offering Keri teams up with newcomer J. Cole on the track "Buyou" and with Rick Ross on the song with the controversial and sexed up lyrics "The Way You Love Me", she then turns to Chris Brown on the song "One Night Stand". Besides the many features Keri has some really good tracks without the appearance of a male counterpart. "Toy Soldier", along with "So Good" (deluxe version), "All The Boys" and "Gimme What I Want" are all really good tracks!

I totally recommend this album to anyone who loved IN A PERFECT WORLD and to those who didn't. NO BOYS ALLOWED is an excellent and cohesive piece of work. You can listen from beginning to the end. Don't sell yourself short by getting the regular version. The deluxe version is worth it.

(If you bought the album and whether u liked it or not. Leave us your comments down at the bottom)
